Review...Neighbors With Benefits by: Marissa Clarke

Neighbors with Benefits (Anderson Brothers, #2)

Synopsis:
Love thy sexy jerk of a neighbor…
CEO Michael Anderson might be something of a “control freak.” Still, he’s not quite sure why his therapist thinks dogsitting will fix anything—especially since he and the canine share a kind of mutual loathing. And to make matters worse, a house sitter moves in next door disrupting his peace—and his dates—with the worst possible music at the worst possible time... every time.

Free-spirited artist Mia Argaropolis has settled into the perfect gig—housesitting in NYC’s Upper West Side while working as an art therapist. Too bad she’s stuck living next door to a bossy control freak with a penchant for calling building security when she blasts music to drown out the noises coming through his bedroom wall.

Post-apocalyptic dinner rolls that nearly take her kitchen with them, a douchebag ex, and a Shih Tzu with the personality of Godzilla attack Mia in one day, and her unlikely neighbor comes to the rescue. Like it was her fault. And now, somehow, they find themselves engaged? Both agree, this neighborly feud just got taken to a whole new level.

My Review: (Review copy provided)
3.5-4 stars!

This is a super cute book. It's a fun story of opposites attract. Michael (H) and Mia (h) couldn't be more different. Michael is the stuffy controlled business man whereas Mia is the flaky artist. Mia is house sitting next door to Michael, she is annoying blasting her music at all hours. Michael has made many complaints about his new neighbor but a false alarm has him helping her and meeting her in person. While Mia's house sitting Michael is dog sitting and he could use all the help he could get. Being the business man he is they make an arrangement. Will Mia help Michael loosen up? And will Michael help Mia gain a little control?

I found this story to be a quick read that could be read in one sitting. It is sexy, funny, and well paced. It was nice to see the changes between Mia and Michal progress slowly and I felt that the relationship wasn't rushed.  I loved how Michael took Mia under his wing in a sense and helped her out with her ex.  The Queen B's added some humor and the end with the sweater was the icing on the cake. That made me fall in love with Michael. I did find Mia a little more likable than Michael in the beginning but by the end I liked them both equally.

I read the first book in the series Sleeping with the Boss (Anderson Brothers #1) so it was nice to hear a little about Will and Claire as well. my review

All in all a good read. Check it out.
